Bottled. An unclear dark red beer with no head. The aroma has notes of cherries, and some malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of cherries, fruit, and malt, leading to a dry tart finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAY 19, 2011
Bottle 37,5 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a cloudy pale red with a tiny off-white head. Minerally aroma with dry red berry notes - not really distinctly cherry. Medium body, carbonation is a little low, slightly sweet berry fruitiness with a little yeast and phenols. The alcohol is fairly subdued. Not really that interesting, but at least genuine fruit. 190511

Bottle shared at chriso’s in London. Pours cloudy, bloody pink with a frothy head. The nose has lots of berries, some grape skin. Light-medium sweet, lightly tart, with light pit bitterness, some ripe fruits, berries. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Moderately sweet to finish with pleasant berry tang. Fair game.

Batch G 2007, 9% ABV
Cloudy orange-amber color; big frothy head; indeed there is a lot of carbonation in the bottle. Strange aroma, fruity flowery and soapy, strong. Good body, good Strong Ale, with some sugars; there is a light fruity character, soapy too; at the end, in the low bitterness, there is a light impression of liquorice. It’s a very good beer, but the soap touch puts me off (6-4-7-3-13=33)

Give it some times, the soap aroma goes away, and leaves the place to a hint of honey and herbs. Still solid mouthfeel and flavor, but not enough bitterness (7-4-7-3-14=35).
