thewolf (12742) - Kolding, DENMARK - DEC 2, 2007
Bottle @ YNWA, Kolding. Pours a lightly hazy yellow, with a rather small, fizzy white head. Aroma is sweet, some berries and a little banana. Quite full, and rather light in carbonation - but still a little thin. Flavour is not as sweet as the aroma with a light sourish fruitiness, some peach and a little banana. Not that terribly hefe-like all in all. A bit too sweet, and a bit too sour, so a little underwhelming.

La migliore hefe assaggiata._______ENGLISH TEXT HERE___________75cl bottle at dinner (handmade chestnut flour pasta with nut sauce and various cheese tastings); pours a nice deep golden colour with compact white head, evident perlage; at first not very hazy, it gains cloudiness at the second/third pour and yeast sediment is visible. Aroma is very banana and a bit sour, taste is well balanced between sweet (malts), sour-citric (yeast) and a pleasant but not overwhelming bitterness in the finale, also quite dry for the style. Body is not thin but drinkability high anyway. Best hefeweizen I ever tasted.
