Based on a traditional Bavarian Hefeweizen with added sweetness. Sun-ripened Otago apricots balance the tart, clove and banana flavours of our wheat malt and special yeast. Overlaid with a fine, noble hop to create a fresh, spicy finish. Perfect for that moment when you get to the bach.

Pours a hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is light wheat, plenty of apricot, yeast and cloves. Taste is light sweet of fruit leading to a light yeasty and fruity finish. Not bad.

500ml bottle best before 7/13. Decent Hefe appearance with cloudy orangey body and frothy white head. Strong apricots on the nose (rather obviously) with subtle banana and wheat. Taste is similar with medium body and lively carbonation. Quite sweet overall. Mild spicy hop finish. Good thirst quencher.

500ml bottle from BWS Liquor Store. There is a lot of fruitiness in the aroma and the beer is a honey amber colour with a decent white head that quickly fades. Flavour s at and you can taste the apricot, sweet almost like apricot jam.

Slightly cloudy pour with fluffy white head. Looks good. Smells strongly of apricots, and that’s about all. The taste - well, I get a little tartness but overpowering apricots - the "clove and banana flavours of our wheat malt and special yeast" are completely overwhelmed. Thin and a bit soapy. I’d guess it’s not bad on a hot day if you want something sweet, but it tastes more like a fruit premix than a beer to me. Not my cup of tea.

Aroma. I can smell mainly Apricot. Appearance. Poured from bottle a cloudy apricot colour. Taste. Can mainly taste apricot with also slight clove and banana flavours, however despite it bean a supposed wheat beer, i can taste almost no wheat flavours. Overall. This beer would be a nice session beer on a hot lazy summers day.

Hazy pale amber with fluffy white head that collapses to a lacing and peachy aroma. Sweet died apricot nose with a touch of sourness, initially sweet then dry and custardy, residual apricot sourness and a fairly brief finish. Not enough weiss yeast character really.

Bottled. A hazy yellow beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of apricot and wheat. The flavor is sweet with notes of apricot and wheat, leading to a dry finish. The body is light.

Heaps and heaps of artificial apricot aroma and flavouring. You can smell the beer a metre away. Drinkable.

For those whom love beer this is a disappointing offering. However, the ladies are rather taken with it! I like what the brewer is trying to do, however, the apricot is too cloying.
