Pours cherry red, with a thin white head. Yeast/malt aroma, not much there. Initially slightly bitter, quite sweet. Sweetness overpowers bitterness. Slight hop. Very standard.

zvikar (6465) - Ramat Gan, ISRAEL - AUG 26, 2008
UPDATED: SEP 4, 2008 Caramel amber color, missing head, nutty rice-like flavors, body is low, aftertaste of herbs and vanilla (not that attractive as it sounds)

tomer (3746) - Rishon Le Zion, ISRAEL - JUL 8, 2008
0.33L bottle, small almost non existent head, clear medium brown colour, aroma with some malt and notes hops which are not to atractive. Light aroma of roasted malt which feels bland and watery, carbonation is a bit to strong. Aftertaste is short and mettalic. Not good.

sunevdj (4128) - Copenhagen OE, DENMARK - FEB 19, 2008
Pours a clear light brown with a frothy off-white head. Light sweetness, some bitterness. Caramel and grain aromas with a bit of toasted malts. Light hoppy aromas. Medium to ful bodied. Slightly creamy mouthfeel. Dry finish with hints of spice and fuggles(?)

Plimmer (252) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - FEB 7, 2008
Clear brown-ish body with a normal size white head. Aroma dominated by roasted malt and maby a little caramel. Sweet in taste still with the roasted malt dominating. Maby a bit "thin".

I’ve had this one in New Zealand on my honeymoon.
Amber colored brew. Sweet, roasted malty flavor. A bit watery.

Bottle, a reddish copper, very effervescent with a frothy head. A musty caramal malt aroma wth a touch of astringency. A pretty bland dryish palate with some sugary sweetness to ther malt and a cardboard bitterness. I’m sure this used to be better?

2.5
MBison (548) - Southern Highlands, AUSTRALIA - DEC 4, 2007
UPDATED: FEB 4, 2008 Bottle (330ml). Poured a deep amber with red highlights. Nice creamy white head with fair lacing and longevity. Aroma was mostly mild with slight roasted malts on the nose and hints of caramel and nuts. Flavor was sweet with mild toffee, roasted malts and some nuts. Light\medium bodied with a watery texture and soft carbonation. Not a bad brew, just lacks depth.

gam (4078) - brisbane, AUSTRALIA - NOV 28, 2007
When opened a lovely red to brown color like some English ales aroma was fair sweet, the taste now one to forget it was weak.Of what there was there was a slight sweetness of some sort, perhaps honey and bitters was nil.
