Bottle. Pours golden, with white head. A rather ordinary, dull lager, with hint of boiled vegetables in aroma.

Even by Monteiths appalling standards, this is one of the worst beers. Sweet sugar pop. I cant even bring myself to give it a 4/5 for appearance because the mere sight of it makes me depressed

Impressive in the way that despite so many points against it (eg, sickly honey sweet, almost complete lack of bitterness except right at the very end, generic corn and apple flavours, etc) it actually goes down relatively crisply and cleanly. Its a pretty generic macro lager and I gave it an extra point for not having some meaningless wank like "Premium", "Brewed since 16**", "Blah blah Purity Laws", "By Appointment of King Scratchy Scrotum-Head" etc etc on the label. Not enjoyable, per se, but its on the better side of meh.

Bottled. Yellowish golden colour, small white head. Aroma is grass, herbs, some wooden notes and some herbs to it. Flavour is grassy herbal, earthy and some dusty notes.

On tap at Mr Wows Emporium, Fitzroy. Probably my favorite lager going. Its like delicious liquid cashew nut with a slight bitterness to balance. Extremely quaffable

From notes. Bottle. Clear golden yellow color, small white head that settles quickly. Aroma of grain. Taste is lightly bitter straw.

From a bottle. Smooth and slightly fruity, not too bad, would drink it over most lagers.

330ml bottle into glass. Sweet malt nose. Golden amber beer with thick white head. A few bubbles. Chalky mineral water mouthfeel. A little zing, finish is a suggestion of malt with slight hoppiness. Maybe bubblegum sweetness right at the end. Very drinkable.

Not a lager man but there is a lot to like about this. Got a great malt base but the low hop does give it a fruity edge, if slight. Refreshing. Great for summer. 330ml, 5.0%, 1.3 std drinks. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
