A little on the "wheat" side of taste for me at the beginning, but it really grew on me. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Slightly darker than a lager. Moderate to high carbonation; white head. Aroma is almost like hay..... weird.

Mariusz (12071) - Baden-Baden, GERMANY - DEC 22, 2012
Golden colour with a white head. Aroma is fruit, malt, grain. Flavour is fruit, malt, hint of hop, grain. Thin body. Boring beer.

330ml Bottle BB 10 Oct 2012: poured @ home into a Westvletren chalice on 07 Dec 2012, some two months after its best before date. Looks OK: good deep golden body with a white covering that tries to hang around, but as in most beers of this style it fades to a wispy swirl and collar as you attack the beer. Grainy nose more than hop or straight malt: taste is leaning towards malts, biscuity and semi-sweet. Crisp body and nice hop finish: easy drinking lager and with enough flavour to interest me. certainly one of the highest scoring lagers I’ve had since joining this site.

Light gold with thin white head. Nose is sweet, malty, not much else. Sweet malty flavour, not much else going on - a bit thin, nothing fancy but definitely drinkable.

rauchbier (3908) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - NOV 14, 2012
Bottle, from Rhythm & Booze Barton-upon-Humber. Gold, thin shortlived white head and low condition. Low sweet maltiness in the nose, full and sweet in the mouth with a gentle bitter hoppiness and some fruitiness, lingering sweet finish with some esters.

Bottle- Pours a clear golden color with a frothy head that fades to good lacing. Aroma of fresh grain, some malt sweetness and bit of pine in the background. Has a mild easy taste of malt sweetness and fresh grain. Mild bitterness and a fairly clean finish. Light body, mild crispness, smooth and a bit refreshing. Nothing fancy here. Nice drinkable lager, nothing to rave about but better than most macro offerings. probably best on a hot day.

jamestulloch (4214) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - AUG 19, 2012
Aroma: Sweet honey and cashew nut.

Appearance: Clear golden body with a small white head that quickly fades to nothing. Very little carbonation.

Taste: Slightly sweeter and maltier than most macro lagers. Pretty average.

Palate: Thin body with a slick mouthfeel. Flat carbonation.

Overall: Not much to get excited about here. As far as lagers go, this is okay.

330ml bottle. A Drinkable lager, but nothing special, Better than your mainstream lagers.

ganache (6009) - New Jersey, USA - JUL 9, 2012
Bottle by SEP-12. Lightly sweet, very malty nose, pours a gleaming clear golden with tons of carbonation and a rocky white head. Taste is sweet and malty, lightly grainy with faint fruity and vanilla accents in the deep bg. Crisp but relatively smooth, clean light body, fresh and refreshing. I seem to like this a lot more than everyone else.
