Enjoyed over blue cod fish & chips at the Drunken Sailor in Bluff. Pours a bronzy golden with a moderate soapy white head. Very grassy skunky hop aroma with sweet malt. Sweet grainy flavour, lovely hoppy character, very fresh. Bullit (4675) - Burgos, SPAIN - FEB 16, 2009
Clear golden colour, off-white head. Aroma has fruity hops and malts. Flavour has a decent amount of hops. Fresh and clean. Dry finish. Nice surprise! Demise (57) - Wellington, NEW ZEALAND - FEB 5, 2009
Pours a dark golden with thin white head. Quite malty on the nose, with subtle vanilla aromas coming through and a touch of yeast. Malt and citrus flavours, particularly orange, are most prominent, with a beautiful hoppy kick on the finish and a sweet malt aftertaste. Clean and smooth, with a lot of flavour. This is a very drinkable beer and one of my favourites from the Monteiths range. Ungstrup (38243) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - FEB 3, 2009
Bottled. A hazy dark golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet malty with light notes of straw. The flavor is sweet malty with light notes of straw, leading to a dry bitter and strawy finish. The body is thin. Thanks yespr for sharing. Papsoe (25059) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JAN 27, 2009

Botella. Clear golden with good medium steady creamish white head, good lacing. Mild malty aroma with grains. Fair mouthfeel. The flavour is grainy with a pleasant mild bitterness. Slightly sweet grainy dry finish. Jimthechap (2064) - Christchurch, NEW ZEALAND - JUL 1, 2008
I have to say that this is a bit of a nothing beer, brewed to tackle market share of Steinlager Pure than to be a beer that people would want to drink.
It has a light hoppy character and little else. Disappointing. CH-303 (2338) - Fribourg, SWITZERLAND - JUL 1, 2008
Appearance: Orangy golden brown. Little bit of shortlived fizzy head.
Aroma: Fruit and malt, quite nice.
Taste: Some malt and hops, quite sweet. Fresh.
