Bottled in Germany. Utterly uninteresting, amazing that this is imported inot a country with good beers! Thin, watery, budweissery.

330 ml bottle at a party after all else was finished. Highly carbonated and pale gold, head lost quickly. Nose:Weak sweet malt and no hops. Sickly sweet malt essence flavour with no hop to balance, Cheap DB finish reminds me of caramel and chinese beers. A victory of marketing over brewing, this dilutes a weakening brand further.

330ml bottle from Plonkers, Friarsgate, Derby. Gold with a billowing white head; musty lychee aroma; stewed tea taste, not the most pleasant; with a sticky damp cardboard finish.

Hi Little head, clear golden appearance, crisp and easy to drink. No real body slight metallic aroma. I could drink a lot of this on a hot day, but would not rush to buy this again. I have had Monteiths in New Zealand and I am sure it was better but I guess it could of been another beer.

Pale gold. Slight grainy aroma with a metallic edge. Slight sourness. Does clean taste mean it doesnt really taste of anything? Some bitterness. Unmemorable.

A Mes rate: Bottle at the Porterhouse.
Pale gold with a thin white head. Bread, corn and ceral with some pukey malt that does it no favours at all. Slight hop giving a bitterish finish just about pulls it back from the death. Bland and seriously lacking in character. The unpleasant malt spoils it tremendously.

Bottle. To be honest this wasnt so bad, very boring yes, but quite drinkable. Kind a clean, yet, with a slightly grassy hop finish. Mouth feel is slightly metallic and on the sweet side. Quite refreshing, but boring.

Bottle shared at Porterhouse, Covent Garden. Pale gold with thin white head. Not a great aroma, bit nothingy, faint hop on finish. OK, but doesnt taste of much.

Bottle, poured a dark gold with a white foamy head. A decent malty aroma. Dry and bland on the palate though, and very grainy.
