Monteith’s Pilsner Beer is a Bohemian-style lager in the heritage of extremely hopped blonde beers brewed in parts of Eastern Europe. It has a complex hop aroma and a rich hop bitterness characteristic of this tradition in brewing.
Monteith’s Pilsner Beer has a malty quality that includes smooth caramel characteristics from the use of Vienna-style crystal malts. The key flavour is its enormous hop character, crafted around this complex malt flavour.

UPDATED: SEP 9, 2011 August, 2003 Bottle. An acceptable drink of little character. Quite soft and drinkable. [2.2]
Sept, 2011 Grainy and greasy, fat malt base, Slightly sweet. Somewhat ugly. Few hops - barely noticeable - some soapy notes. This is not nice. Barely drinkable. [1.2]

explosivedog (1833) - Auckland, NEW ZEALAND - JAN 20, 2017
330ml bottle. Very malt forward, with plenty of biscuit notes. A little grassiness, orange, little acidity. Nice crisp finish. Not great.

beeracoon (514) - - DEC 20, 2016

andriesradu (690) - ROMANIA - MAY 25, 2016
Clear golden with a small white head. Malty, light sweet aroma. Flavor is mainly malty, clean. drinkable but taht is all. Similar with their "IPA".

ciocanelu (3119) - Timisoara, ROMANIA - MAY 24, 2016
Clear golden color with white head, typical lager look. Aroma has bread crust and a hint of honey sweetness. Taste follows the aroma with the same notes plus some slight hop character on the finish. Light body, well carbonated. Overall it’s a decent lager with no off tastes but nothing special.

adamnowek (3518) - Brussels, BELGIUM - MAY 3, 2016
Clear golden colour with a slight brass tinge. Aroma is pretty grassy. Taste is smooth and crisp with more of a malty character than a hoppy one. Highly drinkable.

luttonm (6981) - Seattle, Washington, USA - APR 26, 2016
Food Hallen, Amsterdam. Very dark brown-gold, oddly dark. Small soapy head. Mild tart malt aroma. Clean, syrupy pils, maltier side. Kind of macro and cider but demonstrably better.
