janubio (930) - SPAIN - DEC 9, 2017
Black colour, minimum brown head that fades soon, small brwon lace.
Aroma of chocolate vanilla, licorice, oak, coffee. I don't feel much the brandy.
Full body, dense creamy texture. Carbonation is the usual in this kind of beers, not much.
Taste of coffee, chocolate, dried fruits, vanilla. This is not the chili version but I feel some hot notes. Still can't get the brandy.
A robust warming beer.

Draft 0.15l at Vrteska festival II Belgrade, Serbia. Thanks everybody for sharing beers. 05.05.2017. Pour it dark brown color with no head. Aroma sweet sticky leaves. Taste sweet woody flavor, vanilla, some chocolate, licorice, resin, medium sweetness, lightly bitter, medium body, sticky, soft carbonation, astringent, Interesting.

Bottle. Opaque, oily black pour with very thin white head. Aroma Is rich, syrupy chocolate, brandy, oak, booze, raisins, molasses and light roasty coffee notes. Taste is rich, sweet, boozy, not particularly complex, but definitely a mouthfull, palate is rich, full bodied and chewy. Satisfying RIS.

Bottle from Taboada, Euro swap. Many thanks! Black sirupy beer, thin brown head. Roasty but more on the sweet side. Lots of brandy, rather sweet. Nice sipper.

A rich and flavorful RIS where the brandy barrels notes are easily recognizable but it never fall into the "too much" category. Well balanced all along with a flavor profile dominated by milk chocolate, brandy fruitiness, roasted malts and wooden notes. Very good!

Tjomleif (265) - NORWAY - AUG 27, 2017
0,33l bottle. Big and aromatic, but boozy. Alcohol is a bit dominant and also not that complex. Still a very enjoyable sipper, with nice dark malts.

Bottled. Blind Taste @ "III Campeonato Nacional de Cervezas".

@La Cervecita Nuestra de Cada Día, Poble Nou, Barcelona. 13-06-2017.

Good aged IStout. Roasty notes and dry ones dominate wood character, still noticeable. Overall good.
