ganache (6009) - New Jersey, USA - JUL 6, 2017
Bottle. Nose sweet red berry with brown malt, crystal, some mocha. Pour cola and similar to cola when collected, head is super-dense beige and jiggly, as if on tap with nitrogen, lace. Taste surprisingly only lightly sweet and that soon blends in, firm low-medium bitterness with a little (pleasant) acrid smoke, berry, gentle wood, toast, wave after wave of beautiful brown malt undercut slightly by sharp and glassine crystal. Light body is half-flat but not too watery, clean, smooth. Very English on the whole and balanced -- a good one to try, but not one you’ll remember. [2017.07.06: 3.4]

guzzler67 (1696) - Hanover, Maryland, USA - MAY 17, 2015
Mahogany appearance with a large, dense tan head and spotty lacing. Earthy aroma dotted with tobacco and chocolate. Woodsy flavors blend roasted malts and flowery hops followed by subdued sweetness in the aftertaste. Smooth, medium bodied, modestly carbonated mouthfeel with a lingering finish. Hope this brewery expands their style selection soon. So far, everything has been very good.

Holdwine (1235) - Beertimore, Maryland, USA - APR 6, 2015
Nice looking and tasting pour. Deft touch with the expected roasted malt. Toffee? Mild bitterness in the hoppy finish.
