3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
330ml bottle. Pours a hazy light gold, with a tiny and rapidly fading white head, which leaves no lace. It is very typically weizen in aroma, with banana and cloves prominent. Faint lemon up front leads through some cloves into sweet banana in the mid-palate. Cloves and some spicy yeast notes come through in the finish. I am usually pretty suspicious of non-German hefeweizens, but this one is a credible, if somewhat simplistic, effort. Whilst it is not terribly complex, it is a nice, highly refreshing summer beer.
UPDATED: NOV 9, 2017 Smells like a classic hefe. Banana, clove, maybe even apple. The taste is something left to be desired in a hefe but they could be due to the age of the particular can I got, it's sweet with little hop bite. Full and highly carbonated. I suspect this would be a great beer fresh, however, it seems the can I have has aged away esters and hop aroma. Maracuja05 (1629) - Mainz, GERMANY - SEP 27, 2016
[backlog] 23-04-15 // bottle at home in Melbourne. Lovely bottle with nice design. Nice yeasty, light fruits, light bitter. Nice Hefe. kyzr (1596) - Montana, USA - SEP 20, 2016
Gold pour with nice white head. Nose of yeast, lemon and wheat. Flavor is big up front with lemon zest with a touch of crisp apple that mellows out to some yeast and malt. Nice clean simple beer. Ngejo (1000) - Jakarta, INDONESIA - JUN 16, 2016
Tap. Hazy, golden, frothy, white foam, light sweetness, medium bitterness, medium body, oily feel, average carbonation, & bitter finish. Westkyoto77 (640) - Kyoto, JAPAN - FEB 19, 2016
Bottle from Berriedale. Poured a bright gold, with a good foamy head. Subdued aromas of yeast and wheat funk. Good smoothness to begin with, but didn’t have the creamy finish I like in some hefes. Hints of coriander and banana, but nothing earthshaking. Still, it was a nice drop, beautiful on a warm late summer day.

Bottle brought back to HK by Jason and Angela for Steph's birthday 2015 - had at home. Cloud golden yellow pour with puffy head. Aroma is biscuit, sour hops, banana, spice - normal hefe. Taste follows - clean slightly sour hefe. Not too bubbly. Nice. CacheManyHose (765) - HONG KONG - NOV 29, 2015
Given by Jason and Angela. Drank with Matt after Clockenflap day 3. Hazy light green-gold, small white fine foamy head, very light legs. Smells of cereal/Corn Flakes/dusty bran, wheat, malt, banana orange, clove, light spice. Taste is dry bitter hop, orange, sour citric dry finish. Body is lightly fizzy, bitter, medium, like carbonated bitter orange juice. Wheat clove orange in the nose and taste, palate is slicker and less foamy than expected. Bottle - pours hazy yellow. Aroma is green cooking apples, wheat and a little spice. Bit more spice on the taste, fades away not much of a finish. Palate is very lively lots of fizz. TimE (6127) - Tokyo, JAPAN - APR 21, 2015
Hazy milky white color. Very estry with apples, butterscotch in the nose with a light mouth. Refreshing, but a bit too yeasty for me. The yeast also gave off some weird notes. TedE (1481) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - JAN 31, 2015
330ml bottle into glass. Subtle aroma of wheat and malt. Cloudy fruit juice appearance. Creamy tingly mouthfeel. Aftertaste is creamy Banana. Good.
