12oz bottle. I had previously tried this on tap and was not impressed at all. The bottle it similar. Not really capturing any respectable essence of a rauchbier. Amateur lagering. Seems like the kind of beer some chefs would make who have no knowledge or beer wisdom. Amateur stuff all the way. Really a poorly made product, quite odd that they would choose to sell it, even odder to bottle it. orda (52) - - DEC 3, 2017

Tasted at the 2017 Great American Beer Festival in Denver, Colorado. Good flavors, close to style, as expected without too many surprises. jredmond (8965) - New York, New York, USA - NOV 4, 2017
Sampled at GABF 2017 with Andrew and Paul. Pours a clear golden body with thin white lacing. Nose is smoked wood, spice and soft sugar. Mouthfeel is medium to light bodied with notes of sweet smoke character, earth, soft tobacco, and grains. madvike (3308) - Middleton, Wisconsin, USA - OCT 5, 2017
Bottle - Golden pour with a thin, filmy white head. Nose is doughy malt, light sweet apple, and a hint of smoke. Taste is similar, with lightly sweet malt base, a hint of apple, and a mellow smokiness. Yum. Really well balanced. Mediocre reviews for this, but damn if this isn't a fine smoked beer.

From a bottle at a restaurant. Nice sweet smooth ale. Just a touch of the Applewood as well as some soft peach flavor. Tasty very delicate brew. glennmastrange (2949) - hobe sound, Florida, USA - MAY 5, 2017
Bottle. Light grain for the malt, no noticeable hops, dried leaves for the yeast, with smoke in the background. Head is small, wispy, white, with good lacing and is mostly lasting. Color is murky amber. Flavor starts lightly to moderately acidic, then finishes lightly acidic and faintly bitter. Palate is light to medium, watery, with a lively carbonation. Not what expected from a Smoked, more like a Gose. wlajwl (7289) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - APR 18, 2017
Aroma is fruit/apples, malts and mild smoke. The flavor is fruit/apples/smoke, malts and a woody/slightly earthy/acidic finish. The smoke was creeping for the most part. dfinney23 (3424) - Houston, Texas, USA - MAR 27, 2017
Lightly hazy gold. Restrained smoke and green apple notes. I generally gravitate toward "beat you over the head" flavors but the more subtle approach works well here. balloonbuffoon (807) - - MAR 17, 2017
12floz bottle with 5.24.2017 as a freshness date, no indication of bottling or BBD. Bought as a single in a mix six-pack for $10. A fairly decent, though unremarkable beer. It’s light gold in color, has a damp hay aroma, and a grainy palate with a faint touch of smoke. Hardly a smoked beer, but that is okay as some will taste like char. This just tastes light an American pale lager that has some dirtiness. Better than a macro, not as good as most craft beers done in a similar vein.
