Bottled. A murky brown beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of citrusy hops, malt, caramel, and chocolate. The flavor is sweet with notes of chocolate, cocoa, alcohol, malt, and citrusy hops, leading to a dry, bitter, and alcoholic finish. Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUN 3, 2012
Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of maneliquor. Pours a hazy dark nutty brown with a frothy and lacing off-white head. Sweet roasty nose with a little aromatic hops. Rich body, carbonation is a little excessive, massive roasty coffee notes with some raisin touches, heavy hops - slightly citrusy with a roasty bitterness. A little funk lurking. Another interesting Moon Dog beer. 030612 DSG (14784) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - JAN 6, 2017

Clear deep ruby red color, brown head. SWeet, malty, hoppy, roasted scent, also alcohol. Sweet, malty, roasted taste. Roasted aftertaste. Warming alcohol. Smooth mouthfeel, medium high bitterness.
Caramel, banana, phenols, and Belgian yeast. Sweet sugary nose with raisins and some diacetyl. Interesting for sure, and pleasant, though a bit out of whack.

Little cloudy brown beer, huge aery fizzy beige head, bit adhesive. Aroma: coffee, mocha, bit dirty, bread, sugary, burnt caramel, sourish, something rotten and unpleasant. MF: lots of carbon, medium body. Taste: mocha, coffee, bit sour, burnt toast, overripe banana. Aftertaste: bitter hops, sourish, lots of coffee, mocha, bit of caramel, overripe fruits, dry hoppy bitterness, some citrus, burnt malts. Nope, although it’s not bad, I’m not a fan of this thing.
bottle from the prince of wales in newcastle. dark brown, murky with a frothy brown head; plenty of rye bread dough in the aroma along with a bit of over-ripe banana, cocoa powder, sherbet; slightly gluggy texture; somewhat salty, hinting at a touch of smoked malt with some caramel, decent bitterness; curious at the very least zvikar (6172) - Ramat Gan, ISRAEL - JAN 1, 2017
