Tap at the brewery. Slight haze. Light amber. Light tropical and grapefruit hops with light crystal malt. Earthy standard IPA character. mkel07 (5995) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - JUN 16, 2014
330ml bottle at Scratch Bar 270314. While not as out there as some of their beers this is still a good solid IPA and as always the label is weird and wacky. hawthorne00 (3955) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - MAR 25, 2014
Bottle, 8C. Amber with a white head. Aroma of grapefruit, pine, spices, bread crusts.A little soapy. Sweet bread crusts, lots of pine, kumquat, grapefruit, spices. Doesn’t dry out all that much, bitterness and zesty aromatics struggle to break through the sweetness a bit, although not so much as the first I tried which was not so cold. Solid. maneliquor (3514) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - MAR 26, 2014
UPDATED: MAR 27, 2014 Bottle form Mane Liquor. Straight from the bottle. Props for the epic label. Nose is a piney monster of a thing. Has some nice tropical and tangy notes there as well - think pineapple and guava. Some pineapple and mango comes through in the taste but it is dominated by grass and pine driven hops. Drinks far too easily for 7% with only a slight hint of heat and has a full mouth feel with lingering bitterness. Reminds me of the first time I had Hop Hog. Simple but done very well. Very tasty stuff Davros (3187) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - MAY 29, 2014
Pours dark amber with a large, lasting mousse-like head.
Nose shows lovely sweet clean malt with a cookie dough-like hint, musk sticks, fruity confectionery and mango/paw paw/rockmelon. Lovely.
Toned down flavours, some sweet clean malt, grapefruit, pine and bready notes leading to an aggressive sharp bitterness.
Carbonation is a bit over the top.

330mL bottle from Beer Cartel.
Pale gold beer, fluffy white head hangs around.
Hoppy nose to it; citrus, grass, pine, touch of toasty malt shares company.
Medium bodied (surprisingly), moderate carbonation, good length to it.
All good stuff on the body - biscuity malts, woody citrusy American hops pack a punch and a firm measure of bitterness.
Scarily drinkable for a 7%. A solid staple from this quirky brewery. sm89walt (2065) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - APR 3, 2016
330ml bottle from Beer Cartel, Sydney. A hazy, lightly particulate amber with a tall, mostly lasting rocky white to off-white head atop leaving a soapy lacing. Aromas of citrus, mango, pineapple, tangerine and peach. Similar to taste. Quite juicy but with a drier, biscuity pale malt mid-palate. Mid-weight, medium carbonation and a medium to full length and intensity bitterness in the finish of resin and grapefruit. Stew41 (2025) - Phuket, THAILAND - MAY 4, 2014
Very MOR. Some modern sweetness in the palate but not particularly resin packed or bitter. Smokey, slatey, almost reductive note to finish. Does fade somewhat in the back palate. Not convinced all is ok here. StevieT (2013) - AUSTRALIA - OCT 9, 2014
From a bottle. Pours a cloudy amber, interesting floral aroma, resin mouth feel and sharp, rich hoppy flavours. Lunkie (1937) - Glen Iris, AUSTRALIA - NOV 27, 2014
Hop herbal spice aroma. Murky Amber colour great head and lacing. Malt spice grass herbal flavour. Moth lingering palate.
