UPDATED: SEP 15, 2012 Bottle, 6C. Hazy yellow with a few clumps and a small but well-retained white head. Aroma of guava and plenty of the barnyard, some puke and rotting flesh. Quite confronting - the sort of smell tropical fruits or washed rind cheeses have that you might decide you don’t mind after you’ve dared to taste them. Taste is tart and dry with a strong wheaty tang. There’s some fruit lurking underneath too, but I don’t know that I would have picked it as guava. Highish carbonation in a light body with some kefir-like mouthfeel. Refreshing. Unlike the watermelon one, this is out there. [3.6]gam (3909) - brisbane, AUSTRALIA - MAY 18, 2012
Hazy yellow with a large white head that lasts and leaves sheets of lacing in La Trappe glass. Aroma is not confronting like before, separating into clear fruit and sour wheat/ lemon/ vanilla. Creamy and slippery mouthfeel. Very dry at the end with moderate tartness that lingers.
Misty lemon pour some sediment strong carbonation large head aromas lemon yeast strain guava sweetness grainyness the flavours lovely yeast and grain mix sweet medium bitter lemon pink fleshy guava taste slightly earthy used to live on these little fellows the finish good taste to the ale sweet fruity yeast and grain malt good bitter tangy ale a little soapy but I liked it Brenhophead (695) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - JUL 30, 2012
330mL bottle. Has a very light staw/pine like colour with a small soapy head and a massive Belgian yeast/guava aroma. It has a slight bitterness to it and more than your would expect and the a slight guava flavour mixed with the Belgian yeast esters with a nice finishing sweetness. I enjoyed with beer i just felt it would of been some much better with a sour tang. maneliquor (3514) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - JUN 30, 2012
Bottle from Mane Liquor. Pours cloudy yellow with a big, fluffy white head. Lovely lacing left behind. Nose is subtle brett, with loads of straw, hay and a touch of sweet melon. Has a saisons nose to it. Carbontaion is a little bit of a problem here but not overly. Just a little bit too spritzy. Taste shows more of the brett and funk with a very sweet guava-melon like finish. Not my sort of thing but not too shabby mkel07 (5829) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - JUL 18, 2012
330ml bottle. Lots of white foam straight up in the pour that takes a bit to settle. Very pasty and pale looking in the glass with a tart fruit aroma. Almost looks like a ginger beer. May not be the best looking beer around but the flavour is good.

Bottle from Smith Street Cellars. Good summer beer, with sour notes. Aromas of tropical fruit, citrus, and some honey. Taste is sweet, with hints of sourness, and average length. Palate is carbonated, and medium bodied. Yellow cloudy, with a big frothy head. bluevegie (3073) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - MAY 6, 2012
Yes this does look a little like watered down pineapple juice with a decent lasting white head. Lemon on the aroma with wheat in the taste, then some sourness, then what is probably the guava. Berliner- ish. Davros (3132) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - MAY 27, 2012
Pours pale straw with a large head.
Nose shows funky brett notes, very soft guava, gooseberries, lemon. Not particularly interesting.
A little more guava is noticeable as a flavour, mostly as an underlying sweetness amidst the brett and very faint acidity.
Carbonation is a bit full on. bluebetty (1021) - AUSTRALIA - NOV 17, 2012
Bottle. Pours a light straw with rocky white head. Aromas are dominated by sweet melon. Perhaps just a little acidity to balance. Flavours are quite ordinary. Perhaps a little sweet wheat malt and a very light acidity on the finish. Thin mouthfeel. Yep dont get it again. varanid99 (1171) - AUSTRALIA - JUN 14, 2014
Found some old notes for this one: Pale pee colour with a huge fluffy head. Tropical fruit and lemon, slightly musty aroma. Very fizzy. Slightly funky yeasty taste, rockmelon, slightly sout, a little weak tasting though. Not overly rapt in it.
