Tap at Biero. Incredibly hazy - almost milkshake levels. Doesn’t look great. Fruit salady, almost shampooish esters but without real alcohol heat, though it kind of manages to burrow into the back of your brain. So ethyl acetate I presume and not fusels. Not really my thing, but the beer actually carries it pretty well. Fairly sweet in a juicy, sugary way rather than a real chunky dexrinousness. Moves around your mouth very easily. Grainy M&M skins, but there’s some quality melanoidin drive hidden underneath. Only the vaguest suggestion of gingerbread spice underneath, if at all, which is probably for the best. Decent bitterness, but not much hop character otherwise, though the resultant burps are actually pretty hoppy. Weird beer, a bit all over the place, but the slippery sweetness has some appeal. Not the most refined, but that’s hardly what you’d expect with these guys.
