COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
the name given a new hoppy, low-alcohol pale ale from the minds of Brewmeister John Pinkerton and his talented assistant, Chris Lady, at Moon River Brewing Company. While Savannahfest remains the microbrewery’s flagship, it’s apparent that Slow-vannah and its session beer characteristics could propel it into become a leading, year-round offering.

Pours golden with a nice head. It has a piney nose, a bit astringent. not really anything to hit a second time.

Trübes mittleres gelb, schaum ok, leicht tropischer duft auch trockenfrüchte, im Geschmack schön herb fruchtig etwas harzig, gut aber nicht außergewöhnlich

kramer (6682) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 10, 2017
Pours a clear copper body with a small wispy white head. The nose is not the best for me, just lightly hoppy, but the malt base is rather sweet and iced tea like. The flavor is a bit thin with some minimal hops and very light bitterness. It’s not terribly sweet, like I was expecting though. Ok effort I guess, but it’s a bit thin all around, even for a ’session’ IPA.

Gold with a white head. Nose is bright, florals, refreshing, light citrus. Easy palate, bitter hops, florals, light earth, nice finish.

on tap at the brewpub in Savannah GA - dark golden color. Slight hop aroma and flavor. A session IPA - a bit flat but not terrible.

On tap at brewpub. Pleasant fruity aroma. Taste is weird and dry. Citrus in there, and boozy somehow even though it?s a session. Not really a fan.

Draft at the brewery, 10/16/15. White head and coating lace on a clear golden beer. Light aroma of citrus and spice. Flavor is thin and dull. Thin mouthfeel as well with a soft carbonation. Unfortunately this is kind of the watered down IPA stereotype that haunts the Session IPA style.

Pours a clear copper color with a white head. Aromas of, citrus, spruce, herbs. Taste the same with some malty sweetness. Nice "light" ipa.

ttutony (927) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 15, 2015
Copper color with thin white head. Pine/citrus hop aroma and flavor. Added boost of a hint of rye spiciness on the palate makes things a bit more interesting.

jbruner (5026) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - JUL 4, 2015
Pours a cheat golden yellow on tap with fluffy white head that dissipates to leave light lace. Aroma of light floral and citrus hops over slight pale malt base. Taste is more malty than you would expect, but still light and easy. Decent enough.

2.6
iguanodon (154) - Bountiful, Utah, USA - JUN 13, 2015
Draft at Moon River brewpub in Savannah. Clear gold with no head. Aroma is faint citrus, earth and metal. Taste is bitter, watery with a metallic aftertaste. IMO not a great session IPA, but then I’m not a big fan of session IPAs, I like mine double.
