4oz on tap at the brewpub. Brown color. Minimal head. Good chocolate flavor to this, most flavorful of any of the beers Iíve tried so far here. A bit one dimensional though. Just.. chocolate. Not too rich, pretty mild though. Lighter carbonation. Kind of slick. Decent porter.

Very nice roasted start. I like this one. Malty, not much hops. Good example of a porter.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Had it on tap at Moon River in Savannah. Black pour with a fluffy brown head. Easy to drink with light roasted malt flavors and sweetness. Low carbonation, but that goes well for a porter in my opinion. Overall, a great beer.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tap at Moon River. It pours deep brown with a medium beige head. The nose is bitter-sweet, light roast, earth, chocolate and caramel. The taste is bitter sweet, chocolate, caramel, mellow roast, toast, earth and coffee grinds with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Nice bitter-sweet balance adds to the drinkablity. Quaffable stuff.

Mellow, not too sweet or malty. Has a chocolate note to it that is nice. Good solid brew!
