Dark chocolate brown pour. Hints of cocao and malt. Toasted malt taste and soft, medium body.
650ml bottle. Pours a hazy red-brown with a small, creamy, short lived, beige head that leaves spotty lacing. Sweet aroma of toasted malt, caramel, bread, nuts and raisins. Sweet flavour of roasted malt, caramel, molasses, dark fruit and nuts with a bitter, metallic finish. Light to medium body with an oily texture and soft carbonation.
Tasty. Wim (3954) - Weelde, BELGIUM - AUG 7, 2016

Tap at Drake’s. Dark mahogany pour with a small dense head. Toffee, coffee, dark fruit. Dark malts. Good. DomD (301) - Halifax, Nova Scotia, CANADA - JUN 12, 2016
From bottle into glass. Strange aroma that I can’t quite place, but I want to say cabbage. Pours a hazy dark red with minimal head. Taste is light to medium sour. Light body with an oily texture. Would not recommend it. TimE (5789) - Tokyo, JAPAN - JAN 24, 2016
Weak body, unexciting dunkle (bock?). Some chocolate notes, but very forgetable.

On tap at the brewpub. Hazy medium copper, thick nitro-ish head. Low aroma of cereal, vague fruits. Lightly fruity caramel, quick dry finish. Pretty simple. slimspady (219) - Lethbridge, Alberta, CANADA - SEP 16, 2014
Translucent brown. Minimal head. Slightly nutty taste. Thin mouthfeel. Simple. Average. BrewDad (5328) - Olympia, Washington, USA - JUL 15, 2014

Up front, not my favorite style. Pours dark brown, small tan head. Smells of spiced raisin pie, molasses and toffee. Taste is malt, molasses and raisin pie. Sweet. Nice carbonation. Sweet malt with a crisp lager finish.

Dark mahogany colour, not much head but it looks good anyway with that colour. Molasses aroma, taste is a bit molasses and caramelly dark malts. Simple character, not a ton of complexity, decent malt character and basic body.
