Deep amber pour with very little head. Restrained aroma of earthy hops, grain, bread. Flavour falls flat initially with an oily mouth feel and average carbonation. Piney hops emerge mid palate with a lingering bitterness. Somewhat disappointing, especially since their IRA and CCS were so good. jonas (7985) - Garching b. München, GERMANY - SEP 27, 2012
Bottle. Earthy green hops. Amber, offwhite lace. Quite earthy and salty, grassy and herbal hops. Light body, light toasted malt. Earthy hop aftertaste. WheatKing (1338) - Phnom Penh, CAMBODIA - SEP 8, 2012
Sampled at the GCBF. This is dry hopped with New Zealand goodies.
Amber, no head. Tangerine on the nose balanced well with bitter taste. Standard, well made NW IPA.
