Poured from 650mL bottle. Cloudy golden yellow with white head. Yeast and pear with coriander and subtle pumpkin. As mentioned by other, very much a pear/pumpkin saison. tom10101 (6265) - Quebec, CANADA - AUG 4, 2015
How: Bottle (650 ml). From tbadiuk, thanks! Split 2-ways.

>>> A beer with two personality. The nose is of a spicy Belgian pumpkin beer and the taste is of a juicy pears fruit beer.
+ Nose is more on the Belgian side, but there’s interesting pumpkin beers notes with cloves and pumpkin mostly. Rather well balanced
+ Taste is really juicy with a lot of pears and a bright acidity
− Overall, there’s isn’t much depth
− There’s a pears bite followed by a rather strong vegetal finish that hinder drinkability quite a bit
Flavors: Cloves, banana, pears (especially in the taste), pumpkin
On tap @TheMoonBrewpub. Hazy yellow with minimal head. Pear, yeast, cinnamon and nutmeg, citrus. Well-carbonated, slightly creamy mouthfeel. Subtle sweetness, incredible flavour. Much more "Pearzen" than "Pumpkin" (maybe that’s a good thing). Ferris (16521) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 25, 2014
Bottle - Fruity esters and sweet malts, light spice. Cloudy gold with a decent white head. Peppery, citrus peel and a nice acidity to round out the sweetness. I like this, but I have no idea about the Pumpkin or for that matter what it is. Tastes kinda like a Saison. vadie (1257) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 7, 2014
En fût à la brasserie. Orange brumeux avec un tête moyen beige. L’arôme des poires avec très peu de citrouille et épices. Un peu du malt bien équilibré avec une amertume doux.

Amber-brown. Caramelized pumpkin aroma with a touch of spice, and also caramelly malts. Lots of sweetness, more caramelized pumpkin, pretty malty and with a bit of alcohol late. mcberko (18979) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 30, 2014
On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a cloudy opaque orange with a medium white head. Aroma is hugely fruity, with loads of pear, light pumpkin, and light spiciness. Flavour is very fruity with mostly juicy pears and light spiciness. Not really getting any pumpkin here. Very well-balanced, with a spicy fruity finish. Good stuff. fiulijn (21264) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 16, 2014
Draught at St. Augustine’s, VancouverRumRunner101 (918) - Alberta, CANADA - NOV 27, 2013
Cloudy dark blond color. As the color suggests, this pumpkin beer is not based on caramelly malts; also the spice profile is different, basically coriander, maybe some star anise; the aroma is quite perfumy indeed, the flavor is a bit simpler; hints of orange peel. Relatively low bitterness, but with a light, pleasant alcohol kick.
More a Saison than a Halloween beer, thus more appreciated.
Pours a deep, hazy gold. Aroma is the combination of a banana cream pie and pumpkin pie. Flavour has the wheat and banana weizen flavour with some sweetness from the pear, followed by vegetal pumpkin-ness. Finish is a little bit warming and spicey. Actually, two styles I’m not crazy about coming together nicely. Gerbeer (4020) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 7, 2013
650 ml bottle. Pours a hazy turbid yellow brown with light head. Aromas of cloves and toasted pumpkin seeds. Flavors of a creamy light pumpkin pie with a doughy crust, plus a sweetness from the pears. Maybe better than the million other pumpkin ales out there this year but I still don’t get it.
