Tap. Slight caramel aroma with a bread or doughiness to it. Pours a deep mahogany with thin foamy head and steady lacing throughout. Significant butterscotch flavour -- a bit too much diacetyl -- but not enough to ruin it. Finishes with a fine, lasting dry bitterness. Smooth and subtle, but could use some fine-tuning. presario (4916) - Stampede City, Alberta, CANADA - NOV 26, 2011
Tap. Better head and spotty lace. Dark amber. Interesting scent of light woody caramel and hop. Moderate hop and equally floral and fruity. manuchampions (1244) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 25, 2011
6oz sample at CAMRA Spring Sessional. Pours a clear reddish brown with decent off white head. Delicious and big caramel aroma. Doesn’t carry through though. Thin taste, some roasted caramel malt, nice finish. Decent.
