On tap at Ølfestival 2011. A dense, finger-thick beige head sits on top of a very dark brown body. Sort of sourish on the nose, but it’s the roasted aromas that dominates. Not much room left for anything else. The flavor is lemony sour with a solid dose of roasted malts. Medium to thin on the palate. Lightly lemony finish, sour and roasted, with a hint of burnt malts. Overall, a bit too thin and highly unusual, but it drinks easily. 110528 brokensail (16648) - Dublin, California, USA - DEC 27, 2012
