Bottle from the source.
Brilliantly clear burnt orange color with a smattering of bubbles when first poured, Slightly floral sweet honey with light bits of fruity oxidation and hints of tart currant to round it all out. Pretty tasty mead. drfabulous (7945) - Lexington, Kentucky, USA - MAY 12, 2017
375 ml bottle. Nice red pour with a lot of currants, and some honey in finish. Similar to other Moonlights. Drake (13738) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 18, 2016
375 mL bottle from State Line, 12/14/16. Clear orange-pink, thin legs. Aroma of honey, toastiness, berries. The taste is honey, grapes, currants, lemon, toast. Medium bodied, hints of booze. deyholla (11605) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - MAY 1, 2016
Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy amber with a slight red hue and no head whatsoever. Aroma combines dry honey, slightly tart red currant and a bit of booze underlying. Flavor has lots of red currant with some dry honey and a hint of tartness in the finish. rdixon77 (2832) - Georgia, USA - MAR 30, 2016
Solid berry mead. Dark red colored. Pretty much on the sweet, fruity side, but still a nice drinkable mead.

3/8/16. The in-laws wanted to try some meads, and this is just about the only meadery I can get locally. $16/375 seems a touch steep, but oh well. Cute red pour, mild legs. Sweet aroma, loads of honey in the aroma, lightly tart, some berry aspects. Good flavor, berries definitely present, sweet, lots of honey character. Not bad. Older Bottle. Pours with a clear deep rust hued body with a touch of bubbles (despite no evident carbonation). Aromas are of deep fruit, dehydrated berries, lightly funky darker currants. Flavors are jammy, tannic and lightly metallic. Lots of curranty, ripe and slightly funky character. Vinous, lots of sweetness to round it out. Biscuity, decent acidity. Overall, decent [not a fruit I really enjoy] red currant character on a clean base Cybercat (5835) - Georgia, USA - OCT 15, 2015
Pours clear golden Amber, got no head but this is dry mead. Aroma presents strong honey and pomme tones. Honey is the star of the flavor, but let’s some fruit notes through - this could deceive you, so beware! Finish is honey sweet. Mouthfeel presents typical body and fizz for a mead. Put on your red dress and catch the buzz! SpongeRuiner (1114) - Michigan, USA - SEP 5, 2015
Pours into a frosty clear red orange color. Big honey nose with an alcohol touch. A big apple flavor with a dry red wine flavor with the currants. Very easy drinking. A little more like a cider than mead. Solid stuff. RafeAU (629) - Los Angeles, California, USA - AUG 21, 2015
Canberra brewers BJCP tastings. Massive honey aroma. Sytrupy but not overly sweet. Berry aroma and tartness. Lovely.
