Pours a brilliant yellow. Aroma is rich and sweet. Honey and a mish mash of sugary fruits. Flavor is real nice. Nice honey sweetness with loads of mango. Fresh and fruity with a dash of earthy dried fruit. A nice sweet treat.
Honey aroma. Taste is over ripe fruit, mild durian finish. One of my least favourite of the moonlight selection. popery (2170) - San Francisco, California, USA - SEP 18, 2014
The mead is a medium, somewhat dull yellow. Mildly cloudy. Still. No bubbles. The aroma is big on honey. No obvious mango, but I think the fruit gives the mead a fruity, musky tone. Apples, pears, grapes, a little mint. Itís quite sweet. Medium alcohol heat. Honey seems a bit heavy, though I think it might be the mango. Well made but on the edge of cloying. I think this one needs an extra element, at least for my palate. Itís tasty, but I donít want much more than a small glass. Fairly viscous. Lots of flavor. Bottle. Clear golden pour, with a bit of white fizzyness. Obviously a lot of honey, floral, very sweet and sugary, some alcohol, and dried mango fruit. Itís ok. jcwattsrugger (12418) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - SEP 1, 2013
375ml bottle-thanks CLW-still-yellow/gold. A-honey, some lemon. T-honey, fruit, some spice. illidurit (2327) - San Francisco, California, USA - JUN 13, 2013
Pours a nice cidery straw color with a fizzy ring of white head. Aroma effuses jasmine flowers, like wading through a field of jasmine. Lighter accents of crabapple, bruised summer fruit, vanilla extract and honey. Flavor is sweet and a little acidic, lots of honey and fruit but not obviously identifiable as mango. A little grapey and a little appley. Great lingering aftertaste of honeycomb. Sharp aftertaste, a bit acidic and a bit boozy.

pours a slightly fizzy bright yellow color. smell is deep honey with spice notes of a masala. taste beings with a dark tasting honey and lots of masala spice notes. after letting the mead sit dried candied mango comes through. overall sweet and moderately fizzy. really crazy volatile spice esters despite no spices. After it breathes for 10-15 minutes the mangoes shine.
