on tap-pours no head and hazy yellow color. Aroma is rosemary/yarrow, light malt. Taste is rosemary/yarrow, light malt. JoeMcPhee (9516) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 30, 2008
Tap at the Linkery. Deep golden hazy beer with a thick white head. The aroma is pretty nice. Crisp clean crackery malts with a soft floral/herbal hoppy aroma as well. Flavour is quite well-balanced. Clean crackery malts, soft sweetness and a kiss of vienna malts. Minerally but floral hoppiness. Pretty nice beer, really. Nik925 (795) - USA - NOV 29, 2008
I wouldn’t have guessed this was a Pilsener when I had it. On hand-pump, which really made the hop flavors sing. The malt was a bit over powering for the hops (for a fresh hop). A decent beer, although it should have more hops for a wet hop or less of everything for a pilsener. Regardless of description, it was a good brew. bmackenzie (40) - Wellington, NEW ZEALAND - OCT 29, 2008
a beautiful ESB off the beer engine at the toronado.
sweet malt, hint of caramel and orange aroma from the hops. it is velvet in the mouth and oranggey sweet to finish.
nice pint! Snojerk321 (2960) - San Diego, California, USA - OCT 28, 2008
Tap at O’Brien’s. Pours burnt orange with almost no head. Light hop nose, slightly sweet. A pretty good pale.

Mild redemption for the mess that is 'just Go Shopping.' Pours clear amber with an average white head. Floral aroma, somewhat earthy and bready. Taste was bitter with piney hops. More earthiness with caramel and soap. Kind of fell flat, especially for a Wet Hop ale. marcus (10565) - Sacramento, California, USA - OCT 27, 2008
On tap at Toronado. This amber ale poured with a decent off-white head and a floral aroma. The flavor is a bit thin but still tasty. There is a sweet caramel malt base and a heavy dose of hops, creating a pretty good balance. mpersinger (366) - , California, USA - OCT 26, 2008
UPDATED: NOV 20, 2008 Update- Also had on draft: Malty peach flavor upfront with more vibrant mouthfeel. Great clarity.
On cask at Toad in the Hole: Piney hop aroma and burnt golden color without head and very few bubbles (cask).Flavor broadens with each sip on a light caramel base accentuated/dominated by prickly ginger mouthfeel. There is pine, peach. earthy grapefruit and bitters echoing throughout. Must be the fresh hops. Not heavy-bodied as expected with a little bit of haze and yeast bits at the bottom of the glass of this welcomed pils. alexanderj (3605) - Branson, Missouri, USA - OCT 26, 2008
On tap at O’Briens. Amber/orange in color with a white head. Lacing. Aroma of bread, vanilla, butter, earth and grass. Flavor was very buttery; something a bit off for me and too malty for the style. Hops were to mild in my opinion. WeeHeavySD (3387) - Portland, Oregon, USA - OCT 26, 2008
Tap @ O’brien’s 1st of Wet Hop Fest. Pours orange with a bright white head Nose is sweet with resin hops. Taste is balanced malted pale ale. simple but good.
