The flavor is sweet with notes of oats, malt, and caramel, as well as lighter notes of wood, leading to a dry alcoholic finish where the oat note lingers. joergen (29192) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - APR 3, 2011

Clear golden color, thick white head with solid lacing. Aroma is lightly herbal. Taste is bitter cardboard. Papsoe (25056) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - APR 8, 2011
On tap. Hazy and opaque dark amber with a frothy and fairly stable yellowish head. Hard roasted malts in the nose - perhaps a whiff of smoke. Medium body, somewhat overcarbonated, roasted malts, some nutty accents and a very distinct bitter finish - somewhat raw and unrefined. Never would’ve guessed this to be a Malt Liquor. 070411 Leighton (22297) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 11, 2017
Keg at the Flavor Bistro with all my RB bros. Pours clear, deep brown with a foamy, tan head. The nose holds toasted malts, caramel, light earth. Medium sweet flavour with more toasted bread character, more caramel, earth, dried berries. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Sweet finish with earthy bitterness, hints of pine, toasted caramel. OK stuff. Pushes the limits of ’malt liquor’, I will add. Deep amber colored pour with a white head. Intense toasted bread aroma. Hints of marshmallow, some pine, orange peel, and maybe chocolate. Sweet fruit esters of pear and apple as well. Very nice bread and toast flavors, too. Slight bitterness of pine on the finish. Marshmallow and char, some hints of citrus, chocolate, and fruit esters.
