The body is clear with a slight yellow tint. It smells of fresh peaches with a very light grassiness. Slightly sweet, it tastes of peaches and a splash of alcohol. "Sake" would have been my second guess as to what I was drinking. Okay.

Bottle chilled. Poured a clear pale color. Moderate peach tart apple and alcohol aroma. Light to medium body with a smooth dry texture. Medium sweet peach flavor with a medium sweet green apple finish of moderate duration. This sake goes well with a good cigar.

Served chilled in a little ceramic guinomi, Virago, Nashville TN. Not bad. I feel, in a way, like a girl who says they like beer because they had a Woodchuck Cider once, or a Smirnov Ice or some such drink. I liked this, but is this legitimate sake? Anyway, it was better than the unfiltered stuff I had before it. Mostly clear and pale in color (it was dark in the trendy little sushi bar, so I can’t comment on shade). Smells were vague, but peachish with milder fruitiness as well (pears, maybe? very bland apples?) Sweet all the way through like a dessert beer, I couldn’t notice the alcohol at all and the peach definitely predominated. The nature of the peach flavor was a bit synthetic (like schnapps), but the sweetness was restrained so that it was not at all cloying. A touch of dryness at the end. It was very light and crisp, smooth, soft. My mom would like this. I like it too.

Ichiban Restaurant, Baton Rouge, La. - cold - pours from the ceramic decanter clear with a glinty sheen, like vodka. Aroma is peachy of course, but quite pleasant and subtly sweet. Flavor has elements of peach mingled with the rice. Not overly fruity, more of an afterthought. Alcohol is warm and cozy and sits well with the meal. Very creamy mouthfeel. Nice change of pace.

Clear, oily body. The impact is light with sweet peach. Aroma is full of peach like fruity schnapps. The flavor is FULL of peach. Dry, semi-sweet finish, balanced tail. Light alcohol but seems like peach schnapps, the peach overpowers any complex subtlty from the Ruby base of this.
