UPDATED: JAN 9, 2016 1) Cask handpull, The Salmon, Leicester, 16/11/12. Grey-beige top on glossy black. Intense aroma featuring...Blackjacks, burnt cinder toffee, Neopolitan ice cream flicked with fag ash. Gritty cocoa/filter coffee dregs on palate; more Blackjack, juicy strawberry chew and blackcurrant, earthy coffee, chargrilled veg, aniseed. Black IPA in my book, if such a thing exists. Big, big bang for your ABV buck; wouldve loved another but the missus was driving and whisked me protestingly back down the 69. 2) Keg, Draft House Tower Bridge, 13/12/15. Beige ringed mahogany. Aroma of chipotle smokiness and funnily enough coffee. Thin keg nick, juicy bramble tones dusted with coffee bean minstrels fine smoky linger generous parting bitterness. Fizzy stout? What kind of fucked up world have we created? Cask rate stands. 737213.

Can- 4.5%. Appearance- pretty much black, opaque, a one-finger light brown foamy head. Aroma- lots of coffee, espresso, chocolate, roast malt, tiramisu, ashy roast. Taste- lots of rich coffee, bitter hops, dark malt, chocolate cake, dark chocolate, bitter finish. Smooth and clingy mouthfeel. Good stout.

Tap at Vrteka. Thanks Nenad! Black, of course. Huge coffee aroma, lovely really. The taste, however, disappoints, carrying the coffee over, but not as pungent or intensive (4.7% can do that to its defense), light, almost "filtered", but not quite. Still, a very good beer, just not as great as Id hoped after smelling it.

Backlog z CBC, ocena przepisana z untappd, w ramach uzupełniania profilu na ratebeer. Bardzo fajna słodowość, mocno palone, dość wytrawne, solidnie chmielone. Klasyk.

Can 33 cl. Black with a medium lightbrown head. Aroma of coffee, roasted malt and chocolate. Light bittersweet with a OK chocolate and coffee end. Very nice for low alc.

Sandy coloured, creamy head on a black still body. Medium bodied. Airy on the palate. Minimal carbonation. Dry. Roasted coffee, cocoa, bitter, hints of hops & citrus on the back. Very good.

330ml can, 4.5 %, bought at Gulating lutsalg, Troms. Jet black body, creamy, bubbly, fawn-coloured head with fine duration. Crocheted lacing. Appealing aroma of coffee beans and cocoa. Fine blended taste of coffee and dark chocolate, some dark spices to it as well. Nicely roasted, dark malty bitterness to the ending. A bit thin on the swallow. Well made. (31.03.2017).

Nie takie wcale czarne. Można coś tam przez nie zobaczyć. Mocno kawowy aromat i smak. Taki klasyczny, smaczny kawowy stout z dużą, acz nie denerwującą ilością chmielu. Wszystko na poziomie.

Boks kjøpt på Gulating Tromsø. Aroma kaffe, røyk, malt, støv. Utseende sort med beige skum som varer. Smak kaffe, røsted malt, plomme, noe lakris i ettersmaken. En behagelig god stout med fin balanse på smak. Rund og god ---

A light hop aroma, with a stout backbone. Lots of hop flavour, with coffee and chocolate in the background .
