It pours very dark chocolate brown and has a thin beige head, good lacing.
The aroma is coffee, roasted malts and loquorice and some woody hints.
Taste is coffe, chocolate, nuts and a long bitter ending that persists and preserves the coffee taste. Low carbonation.
Easy to drink because of low ABV.
Coffee, toasted malt, great mouth feel, warming, rich and weighty. Nothing fancy or experimental, just a very solid porter. mrol (311) - - JUN 13, 2017
Dark brown colour, beige foam. Coffee, roasted malts. Light sweetness. Well balanced and easy drinkable but I expected more from this brewery. Holmen1 (5839) - Stavanger, NORWAY - JUN 6, 2017
Holmen2 (3568) - NORWAY - JUN 5, 2017
From tap at Mi2 at Cardinal 05.06.17. Translucent brown. Pale brown head. Fine aroma of dark malt, roasted nuts and a hint of yeast. Taste of medium dark malt, roasted nuts, coffee and brittle. Medium hop bitterness is lingering on. Dry. Excellent drinkability. ERB92 (734) - Bergen, NORWAY - MAY 19, 2017
Aroma of chocolate, coffee, caramel, wood and hints of nuts and vanilla. Dark brown to black with a tan head. Medium sweet and medium bitter. Medium body with a average carbonation. Slightly dry and bitter finish. Overall a decent porter. A bit unbalanced, but still quite enjoyable.

330ml can. Pours black with a light beige head, great retention. Aroma of coffee, chocolate, roasted malt. Taste the same as the aroma, there is a nuttiness to it as well and a light sweetness. Soft carbonation, mouthfeel is smooth, slick, finish is moderately bitter. Good solid porter. Cimbasso (889) - - FEB 15, 2017
