A beautiful golden amber barely wine that is deceptively drinkable. Delightful fruity mountains of fruity malt flavours, a little roastiness and devastating late heat.

Pours clear copper color with a small head. Aroma is very fruity and sweet, apricot, peach, caramel. Flavor is sweet caramel, ripe fruits in form of peach and apricot, alcohol warmth is evident. Sweet and tacky, almost boozy, some interesting notes but as a whole, disappointing.

Benzai (16681) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - FEB 3, 2017
Bottle shared with Erwin Van Moll and Untappd-Timo "who knows Koen" @ Van Moll Brewpub. Hazy almost murky dark orange to reddish color, medium to full sized white head that lasts for a decent while. Smell and taste are weird, kinda weird anyway, old hops, dusty, definitely some barrel aging in there but it doesn’t necessarily do it any good. Meh.

Stuu666 (14806) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - DEC 9, 2016
Keg at salthorse. Pours deep orange, nose is raspberry, caramel, floral, cheesy, taste is sweet, chewy toffee, burnt, vanilla.
