COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A beautiful golden amber barely wine that is deceptively drinkable. Delightful fruity mountains of fruity malt flavours, a little roastiness and devastating late heat.

Bodney Towers bottle share. Thanks to Leighton. Light haze on this amber beer, small cream colour head. Palate is smooth, semi dry and has modest fine carbonation. Rich malts, light caramel and toffee which are not that sweet. Tangy fruits. Decent whiskey and mild whiskey soaked fruits. A touch of bitter wood. Light finish. Bitter woody linger. Nice stuff.

December 2017 - Post Pig's Ear tasting at LKS. With thanks to LKS. Bottle as 'Moor Benny Havens - Scotch Whisky Barrel-Aged', 10%. Pours a dark amber orange, translucent and hazy with a foamy off-white head that leaves light lacing. Aroma is orangeade, lucozade, orange peel. Body is smooth with soft carbonation. Taste is again lucozade, sugary, resinous spicy finish. Decent stuff. (7-4-6-4-15=3.6)

Bottle at LKS - big thanks to the host. It pours clear rich amber with a medium white head. The aroma is rich, woody, earthy, brown bread, fruit cake, touch of spice and slick toffee. The taste is dry, woody, bitter- sweet, brown bread, dried fruits, fruit cake, caramel, leather, toasted nut, bit of spice and a touch of alcohol warmth through the finish. Medium - full body and fine carbonation. A bit more well - rounded than the standard version in my opinion. Decent gear.
