[email protected] Lahna, Helsinki. Yellowish golden colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is diacetyl, fruity, floral, some slight herbal and mild wooden and wheaty notes. Flavour is wheat, diacetyl, some wood and mild herbal and floral notes. Quite Cream Ale like palate. Dunno if the diacetyl is intended in this one, but it suited the flavours and aromas of the beer quite well.

330ml can picked up at Gulating lutsalg, Troms. Frothy and huge white head slowly diminishing over a pale yellow head with a wheat haze. Lacing rings down the glass. Herbal hops and wheat on the nose, subdued citric hints. Refreshing taste profile of lemony hops with restrained spices to it. Smooth bitter, mid-dry ending. Super refreshing (Troms 08.04.2017).

Draught @ Leijuva lahna. Poured golden color with a thin white head. Aroma has wheat, some mild sourness. Flavor has mango, wheat, sweetness. Long sweet finish. Buttery even. Not that fond of this one. Aroma

330 ml can bought at HK Brewcraft in Central.

Looks: Clear light golden colour with a cloud of misty yeast particles; One finger head with crumpety white foam which lasts for 2 minutes; Very good sticky lacing with fizzy small carbonation.

Aroma: Very fragrant malt, with strong banana, pineapples, vanilla, wheat, light floral, sugar, cloves, spices, light bread, yeast, lemon and fair grass.

Taste: Close to light sweet light malt, with fair wheat, light tartness, fruity esters, light grapefruits, light floral, strong dough, yeast, fair lemon, medium bitter hops and grass.

Body: Mid to light body. Dry and slick palate.

Mouth Feel: Light maltyness in a thick and very crisp background. Not much wheatyness felt as in most Wheat Ales or Weissbiers, and tartness is a whiff. Notable grapefruit hops, background fruity esters but not much phenolics. Very low sweetness, not too yeasty but very doughty. Fair lemon to round. Clean and nice!

Hoppiness: Light floral, spices, lemon and fair grass in nose. Light grapefruits, light floral, fair lemon and grass in taste; Bitterness is moderate for a lasting, medium astringent doughty finish.

After Taste: Dry. Crisp, citrusy and quite bitter to mouth. <P>Comments: This one has really nice tropical fruit ester aroma akin of Hefeweizen, and taste is a very lean, almost devoid of wheatyess but has nice citrusy hoppiness to spice things up. Not a typical Wheat Ale, and I think Moor is capable of brewing a full-on, mind-blowing Hefeweizen instead of this odd hybrid. Still a nice one!

Tap @Barley Mow, Bristol. Medium white head, golden/yellow colour, fair lacing, cloudy. Lightly fruity aroma, but difficult to distinguish bananas or clover. Lightly bitter, light body, long finish, average carbonation. Nothing special & boring.

Can from Coppers, Newcastle. Cloudy straw-yellow coloured with a large white head of foam. It has a sharp citrus and tropical fruit flavour followed by vanilla, banana and grapefruit on the smooth, spicy finish. Excellent.

Tap @ Kick. Slightly unclear golden body with a medium sized white head. Not very strong in aroma, some kind of fruitiness and yeast, but not the expected wheat and banana nose. Flavor is not very typical wheat either, could easily be a blonde. Mild pale malt, light fruity, some yeast and not much bitterness. I had to double check with the bar that this really was the right beer as it did not taste much like the majority of the ratings here. Maybe its a bit old, dont know and would like to try it again from can or something.

330ml can. Pours a cloudy golden colour with a creamy bright white head, good retention and lacing. Aroma is wheaty and spicy/herbal, citrus fruit. Taste is the same, herbs and spices up front, coriander, citrus fruits, lemon, wheat, finish is bitter, spicy. Oily texture, medium-ish body. Refreshing and pretty good.
