Bottle with the Belgrade Boys at Halloween tasting. Thick heavy pour, soapy head. Fruity, deep aroma, rich body with acidic fruit aftertaste. Good alcohol richness. Lovely, interesting. At the Belgrade-Serbia tasting on 31/10/2015. Vintage 2013 bottle purchased in Rome-Italy at Johnny Off L. beer store. Pours black, little ivory lacing. Nose: green apples juicy pulp, English classic Old ale character, some red fruit, wood. Nice! Mouth: a very balanced and clean vintage old ale. Green apple skin, burnt malts, English elegant malty notes. Unique! Marduk (7694) - Reval, ESTONIA - DEC 29, 2014
660ml bottle @Overpriced Beer Tasting 2014. Very dark brown color. Sweet, caramel, burnt sugar, candy in aroma. Apricot, dead yeast, roast, faint banana in taste. Feels thin. Burnt brown sugar in aftertaste. Senka (1082) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - DEC 27, 2014
66cl bottle@ 200€ of beer session. Thx to FatPhil. Has so much potential, but is so over the reasonable price level for what it is actually is. Yes you get old ale, yes it is good, yes there are better than this brew.

Odd roast aroma. Touch of sourness. Taste very similar, rough malty roast, quite dirty (but it was a clear pour from a well-settled bottle). WTF?! Sharp and so fucking thin. All the complexity from the old ale has leeched away, where’s the fullness, where’s the breadiness of the grain? The ultimate example of barrel ageing ruining a beer. Fuck me. I spent 24e on this shit?!?! Overpriced vote 6/6.

Black color with generous beige head. Mild aroma of roasted malts, light yeast. Good body strength, the roasted malt flavor is not strong, some chocolate, and light fruity/acidic touch; correct bitterness; nutty finish.
Dark Cola brown, more or less headless with some greasy lacing. Bright boozy bubblegum, toffee apple and walnuts. Very plseantly vibrant throughout. I’m sure I had this on cask. Wee bit cooler and palate, lightly spicy. Softest carbination but rolls into a slick burn. Lightest coconut, very soft and drinkable. Barrell comes through quite dryly, gloomy sweet. Linger is bright and a wee hit rubbery. Bottle, Cornelius. oh6gdx (26488) - Vasa, FINLAND - JUN 27, 2014

IX. More or less black ccolour, small brown head. Aroma is liquorice some alcohol and mild spices. Flavour is liquorice, alcohol, some metallic (bloody) notes. I did like what this was going to be, but not what it turned out to be (from the aroma pow).
66 cl bottle @ PBF IX.
Pours dark red-brown color with a small head. Some roasted malts and chocolate on the aroma, faint wooden notes also. A bit salty flavor, some malts, caramel and soy-like oily notes. Slick malty palate. Weird and a bit below my expectations.
