Cask, Special;
What started out as a little bit of fun quickly became the favourite of many die hard ale fans and has become permanent. Probably best described stylistically as a Californian IPA, this beer has all the rich malt and fruit flavours of a Barley Wine combined with the hoppy crispness of a Pale Ale. And as best said by one of its biggest fans, "Hoppiness = Happiness."

bursprak (3285) - Aarhus, DENMARK - MAR 14, 2016
Can @ Mikkeller bar, Aarhus. Light hazy golden pour with a generous. Notes of bitter hops, citrus zest, resin and some caramel.

Pyrmir (6210) - Uppsala, SWEDEN - MAR 4, 2016
Bottle sample at UBWF. Slightly hazy golden with whiteish head. Aroma is hoppy, fruit, grass, tropical fruits and some malt in the background. Taste has some pale malt, tropical fruit, grass with a decent bitter finish. I like!

thirstyrabbit (1849) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - MAR 2, 2016
Small can. Hazy orange IPA body with a tall creamy head. Grassy aroma with mild pine needles. Juicy taste with more mild pine and freshly cut grass. The dank grassiness dominates the dry pine a bit too much. Medium bitter finish. Solid IPA but not quite world class for me.

BeerViking (5041) - Brentford, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 1, 2016
Can. Dark gold with a thin haze and a huge head. Pine resin, toffee, pineapple and faint mango aromas. Dry dry pine and herbal bitterness, faintly spicy yet still fruity. Lovely.

danielemolino (106) - torino, ITALY - FEB 24, 2016
Bevuta in lattina da 33 cl comprata a lo sfuso a torino. Non malvagia ma buh... un amaro strano che non aggrada completamente. Finale sderenato

puren (1253) - Gdańsk, POLAND - FEB 23, 2016
wyraźnie opalizujące, bardzo obfita piana, o okach od małych po duże, zostaje do końca w grubej warstwie, ładnie zdobi szkło;
silny - cytrusy, pomarańcza, grejpfrut, cytryna, owoce tropikalne;
ciało średnie ku niskiemu, bardzo gładkie, średnie nasycenie, bardzo lekkie rozgrzewanie w przełyku, lekkie wyklejanie na podniebieniu;
słodycz żółtych owoców i długa ziołowa goryczka przeplatają się, żadne nie dominuje;
wystarczy powiedzieć, że to świetne IPA.

pils70 (133) - - FEB 21, 2016
Color ambra, ha media carbonazione e buona complessità. Agrumi e buona secchezza. Ok

Beerowl80 (388) - Nottinghamshire, ENGLAND - FEB 11, 2016
Tap. Pours hazy amber. Good hoppy aroma with pine, tropical fruits and citrus. Nice fruity flavour with some malt presence and bitterness. Nice beer.
