[ As Moor Imperial Entanglement ].
Unclear medium amber orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, caramel, fruity, dried fruit, sweet malt, alcohol. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, fruity malt, sugary, dried fruit, alcohol, sweet fruit, rich malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat, finish feel is light alcoholic.
330ml can (unfiltered, and with live yeast) from Hoptimism for something cheap (less than £2) because it was near best by date. Fuck me this is gorgeous. It's malt and yeast. Plenty of malt, and some good active yeast to keep it fresh and give it character. There's hops as well, but not as much as I was expecting from a modern craft canned beer - these are modern hops, yes, but otherwise this is a bang on style for a traditional English Strong Ale; I love that marriage of the old and the new. The hops are perfectly in balance with the malt. You can taste the hops, and they add zing, flavour, and balance, but they never dominate, and while there are plenty enough hops to feel the warmth on the lips, they don't burn, and they are in proportion to the immense amount of malt. Gosh, this beer works for me. There's plenty of everything: malts, hops, flavour, freshness, yeast, balance, character. Fuck me. What's not to like? I want more of this. Christ it's good! Rich malty woody aroma, some bitter hops. Taste similar. Full palate. Nice DIPA, doesn't feel too heavy. Finish pleasantly bitter, but isn't aggressive. Good balance. Moor please! (snigger)

, Tampere, Finland. Wide spectrum of nuances like syrup, dry fruits, pine and slightly roasted cookies. A hint of lactic notes. Hops and some alcohol ties everything together on the background. Averagely balanced. Medium aftertaste with hoppy, slightly sweet malts. Medium/strong body with medium/light carbonation. Overall, unusual and a bit messy but quality product. Could have a bit less alcohol.
Otroligt disig gyllengul vätska med medelhögt vitt skum. Stor och fruktig doft med ananas, mango, passionsfrukt, citron, grapezest, färsk granbark och resin.
