A very hoppy and refreshing bitter, brewed to celebrate the revival of the brewery, and meant to revive you when you need it. Light in colour but not flavour thanks to a blend of Pale, Lager, Cara, Crystal and Wheat malts. The hops are a blend of American varieties, with American-style yeast providing a crisp finish. For a beer relatively low in alcohol it has a very full flavour and drinks well above its strength, earning it a multitude of awards and setting the standard for the style. A modern classic!

355 ml can ordered online from LCBO. Pours a very cloudy dull orange colour with solid-sized off-white head. Aroma is caramel and fruity maltiness with some herbal hoppiness. Flavour has caramel, fruit, biscuit and some herbal character. Average body. Impressive for the low ABV.

UPDATED: MAR 15, 2018 330ml can. Slightly hazy amber with a thick frothy white head. Flavors are orange, grapefruit and herbs with spicy and floral notes. Light to medium body, moderate carbonation, oily texture.

Corpo watery e carbonazione molto low. Molto session e dissetante.

On tap @ Brew Wild.
Cloudy golden color, white head with some retention, good lacing. Aroma has light earthy notes, slightly caramel. Flavor is slightly bittery, some notes of tea. Dry mouthfeel in the final with a very light bitterness.

Flavourly canvent calendar. Light amber, tight white head. Malty aroma. Decent heft for a low abv beer, lots of malt and a decent bitter follow through. Good.

Tap at Craft Room. Hazy amber body, off white head. Huh, initially this was extremely subtle and watery, served slightly colder than the average, but letting it get warmer really opened the beer up, both this and Nor'Hop, both more sensitive to temperature than is the norm. Warmer, this revealed light citrusy notes, sweetish biscuity malty touches, vague currant and pomegrenate. Dry, perfumey peachy smooth taste. Really an okay light beer. Very much English and yet kinda American in a way. Just shows how good this brewery really is.

Pint of cask at the Earl of Essex. A great pour with the expected minimal head. This was a perfectly kept pale ale and the flavours of malt and both bitter and fruity hops were allowed to shine. There was a lot of flavour for a beer under 4% abv and this is one I could have drunk throughout the night.

Can 330 ml from Flavourly canvent calendar. Aromas are malts, tropical fruit, grass and citrus. Hazy gold-amber body and white head. Taste is bitter with tropical fruit, grass. Quite carbonated. Drinkable but doesn't stand out.

theprof (1528) - Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, ENGLAND - NOV 11, 2017
Cask. Light in colour with white top. Malty but with ample hops fruit. Tastes medium bitter. Palate medium bodied average carbonation, long finish. A very full flavored low abv bitter.
