A very hoppy and refreshing bitter, brewed to celebrate the revival of the brewery, and meant to revive you when you need it. Light in colour but not flavour thanks to a blend of Pale, Lager, Cara, Crystal and Wheat malts. The hops are a blend of American varieties, with American-style yeast providing a crisp finish. For a beer relatively low in alcohol it has a very full flavour and drinks well above its strength, earning it a multitude of awards and setting the standard for the style. A modern classic!

Cerveza típica inglesa, con mucho amargor y escasa en matices, buen cuerpo y gasificación

Draft at The Pint Shop in Cambridge, UK. Hazy copper with a lacy white head. Aroma is citrus, herbal tea, caramel. Flavor is nice and herbal, some wet leaf notes, crisp, balanced on the sweet/bitter front. Clean feel, soft carbonation. Really nice bitter!

Keg at CP&K, 16/10/17. Almost clear golden orange with a decent off white covering. Nose is orange pith, straw, grass, biscuit crumble, apricot. Taste comprises orange pith, melon, straw, biscuit malt, toasted grains, grass. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with balanced bitterness and and earthy hop bite. Decent hoppy session gear.

330ml can @ Byron, somewhere in London. Pours a misty pale gold, medium white head. Fresh citric aroma. Taste falls short somehow, very faint citrus coming through, pale malts, grassy, herbal, some faint lemon. Not a lot of flavour present, but chuggable.

Surprised by how good given its low ABV. Palate had a lot of depth and citrus and orange notes throughout.

330ml can. Hazy golden orange colour with a two finger white head. Aroma: hoppy, citrus, earthy pine, malts. Taste: same as aroma, citrus hops, earthy pine, grainy malts, bitter finish, good amount of flavour for low ABV. Light bodied, carbonation a little fizzy. Nice stuff, wouldn’t class as a Bitter though.

javiercrasher (622) - Granada, SPAIN - MAY 19, 2017
Bitter de libro. Fondo maltoso con un toque lupulado (cítrico y herbal), final ligeramente amargo. Buen cuerpo y regusto duradero para tan poco alcohol. Tremenda! BB 2018/02
