Schokoladig-röstiger Antrunk. Ein wenig brotig, cremig, moderat röstig. Schokoladig malzig bleibend, süffig, gut. 10/11/12/11/9/11

UPDATED: MAR 9, 2018 Grifo. Como siempre con las stout, demasiado fría. Sin picos agresivos en los sabores esperados en las stout. Lúpulo marcado. Poco aroma. Psche.

Keg tap at the Moor Brewery Tap, Bristol. Dark brown, almost black with a bit of filmy khaki head on top. Salt liquorice, charcoal, light coffee notes on the nose. There's some sweetness to the taste but it's edged out by the tarry bitterness. More liquorice along with some nutty notes and blackberry in the finish. Medium carbonation, fairly thick body. Nicely put together.

spiffero (78) - Camelford, Cornwall, ENGLAND - JAN 24, 2018
UPDATED: JAN 27, 2018 This is a good, straightforward stout, with no peculiarities. Can-conditioned, it pours jet black, up to a narrow, beige head that stays around. From this, a sweet coffee smell rises pleasantly, touched with a hint of bitterness. The flavour begins with that sweet coffee and then expands to a dark malt breadth, rounded out by subtle bitter and alcohol notes. Mouthfeel is just right--a thin, delicate fizz giving way to easeful smoothness. There's nothing distinctive about Moor Stout; but if you want a no-frills, classic stout, this is good as any, in my opinion.

On tap at Craft Room Zagreb. Black coloured, medium sized brownish head, caramel and whiff of chocolate in the nose. Roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, light coffee and nutty with dry bitterish finish. Not bad but...
