Dark brown; poor head. Some malt and roasted malt aroma, outscored by a nice hop. Light body (light alcohol content), but really good mix of flavors, balance, in which a sharp coffee and roasted malt outstand. A very delicate coffee taste in the palate as well. Bottle from M&S Stratford and drunk at home. Black deep ruby colour lasting beige head. Bit of buttery malt on the aroma. I love this beer on cask. It’s just not as good in bottle, lacks the mouthfeel. Finish is decent some dark fruits on finish is also good. Nothing offensive. Lacks that wow factor of a cask beer. chrisv10 (17286) - DENMARK - APR 9, 2014
