Moorhouse’s first ever ‘Blond’ ale, this beer is as light as you can get with a lager colour (minus the bubbles). Drinks to the strength of any good White Witch.

Cask at the Wibbas Down Inn, Wimbledon. Poured crystal clear golden with a thin white head. Slightly malty, slightly sweet. Not a hoppy golden beer. Solid pint though.

Cask @ St. Urho. Aroma is fulfilled with grass. Also some distant buttery tones. Flavour has strong grass tones, butter and herbal hops. Also some distant bready tones. Very hoppy, yet balanced. Nice.

Hermod (8349) - Vantaa, FINLAND - MAY 14, 2014
Cask @ St. urhos. Deep golden, bubbly, white head. Apricots, peaches, citrusy aroma, floral notes. Fresh. Flavor has apricots, nettles, floral notes. Bitter finish. Lots of nettles in this. Awesome.

Bree Louise. Cask. Hazy gold beer, small white head. Palate is smooth and slightly soft. Mild fine carbonation. Light cream in the malt. Mellow orange marmalade citrus. Light floralness. Comes together reasonably well in to a softish finish. Mild bitter linger.

Cask at the March Hare, Dunton. Golden beer with little head. Very faint sulphrous aroma. Taste is bitter/sour, no real flavours to latch on to. A pointless exercise; the cask may have been near the end but even allowing for this I’m afraid I can’t recommend this.

s_hartshorne (2814) - wakefield, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - NOV 30, 2013
A slight malty/fruity aroma. A good white head. A zesty taste with a light malty finish. A nice pint light copper colour

gegwilson (3800) - North Yorkshire, ENGLAND - NOV 16, 2013
Cask in the Swinging Witch, Northwich. Very pale with a good white head. Nicely balanced for a blond ale. A good example of a bland style.

SarkyNorthener (4847) - West Bromwich (Yorkshire Expat), West Midlands, ENGLAND - SEP 10, 2013
[email protected] avion, aldridge. Orange golden beer with residual head. Faint malt aroma. Taste is citrus, fruity and sweetish malts. Ok beer.

mr_h (5946) - Ayr, SCOTLAND - SEP 6, 2013
Cask by handpump at Standing Order, Edinburgh - clear golden yellow, medium foamy off-white head, fruity, malty aroma, good lacing, sweet, pale malty, bit of fruit, creamy texture, nicely balanced

HogTownHarry (7065) - Toronto (Harbourfront), CANADA - AUG 20, 2013
August 20, 2013 - hand-pull cask at Wenlock Arms. Clear light orange gold with a small white head. Light sweet floral aroma with a hint of tart apricot. Taste follows, but oddly sour, not entirely pleasant. Light, slick, acidic and quick finishing. Ehh
