Overly sweet, especially for what's described on the label as "light...soft...crisp." The invert sugar adjunct is very noticeable. There's a little spiciness to help combat the treacle sweetness but no head to suggest the carbonic acid bite that would provide greater balance. I can't imagine having more than one of these. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

The local off license sells this out of date. Three bottles for £1. An absolute bargain although I feel that I just constantly poo foam all of the time. Not a recommended session beer. Biscuity tones (more an Oreo than a custard cream).

Bottle from B&M, Team Valley, Gateshead. A golden beer with a toffee, malty and caramel flavour followed by a slight floral hoppy bitter-sweet finish. Ok.

Served in a snifter from a 500ml bottle. Pours clear amber with a white head. Aroma is caramel malts with bready notes. Taste is bitter-sweet, predominantly malty with notes of caramel and biscuit, with a short soft bitter and hoppy finish. Medium body with medium carbonation. Very drinkable, refreshing and enjoyable. Nice one.

Lovely stuff. Poured into ceramic stein as outdoors . Light light tasting. Refreshing lemon slice aroma and in mouth. Creamy pine in there too. So easily sunk. Did not drink like 5.1%. Would be great for session

Butelka. Zlota barwa. Piana biala mala. W aromacie orzechowe nuty. Owoce. Wodniste. W smaku plytkie o goryczkowym finiszu. Nic wielkiego.

Bottle from M&S Stratford and drunk at home. Clear copper amber colour with lasting ivory head. Malty pasteurised aroma. Some fruity malt flavour later on . Not much hop. Just the pasteurisation doesn’t help. Gets better later but still not great. Don’t pasteurise beer please.

Appearance is copper, hardly any head. Aroma- toffee and caramel, raisin hints, malty, brown sugar. Taste- brown bread, lots of caramel and treacle, brown sugar, yeast, malty finish. Very nice.
