Cask, Highcross, Leicester. Amber with a thin foam. Aromas are toffee an caramel with mellow lemon and floral, herbal notes. Flavours are sweet malts with weetabix and caramel. Ripe pear with a fruity, lightly bitter finish. Malts come through again on the aftertaste. Decent.

Spoons Fest! Slighty hazy gold beer, residual suddy white head. Semi soft and semi dry palate. Creamy even malt base. Nice fresh grapefruit hop tempered by some sweeter orange and peach. Finishes the same. Tasty decent beer - guzzled down thirstily!

UPDATED: NOV 14, 2013 Cask Conditioned handpump Wig & Pen Northampton. A blonde beer with a whitish head and lacing. A grassy hoppy aroma leads to a clean lightly hopped taste. Hints of lemon and hints of alcohol strength. Peaches come through late on. Fairly restrained but perfectly OK. Score 3.2

Gravity at Cambridge Beer Festival 2010. Hazy dark gold. Scent is mainly malts, possibly with some vinegar in there too. Nice mouthfeel. Cereal malts and grasses predominate. Quite nice.

[on cask @ RBESG 2009] Lemony hops aroma with a little caramel. Almost clear bronze topped by eternal shaving foam. Green apple and caramel flavour with slight floral hops, low bitterness, and okay maltiness. Light to medium body, very slight bitter finish, low carbonation.

Cask at In de Wildeman. Hazy amber colour, bubbly white head. Aroma of toffee, melon, sweet oranges. Flavour is oranges, some cloying fruitiness, toffee, light smokey/ashy in the light bitter hoppy finish. Light to medium bodied, soft mouthfeel, light carbonation.

[email protected], Stockholm. Copper colour, small bubbly head. Aroma is zest, wood, some nuts and also mild caramel malts. Flavour is the same ending in a rather bitter and semidry way.
