Porter. Golden colour, mediumsized white head. Aromais glueish sweetness with nectar, grapefruit and some sweet wooden notes. Flavour is quite much the same along with some biting grassy and wooden notes.
Cask. Pours an almost clear amber with a neat and lacing off-white head. Very, very neutral aroma, has a smell of pretty much nothing. Light body, low carbonation, lightly sweet fruit and caramel with a fresh edge of citrusy hops. A dry and fairly hoppy finish. A lovely quaffer. 070412 omhper (24970) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - APR 17, 2002
Sampled cask conditioned. Amber coloured. Fruity aroma, light body. Malt accented with sprkling mouthfeel. The finish is slightly salty but not very bitter. An enjoyable traditional cask bitter. madmitch76 (24378) - , Essex, ENGLAND - NOV 15, 2009
