Cask at The Green Dragon, Leek (JDW) A clear golden colour with a thin white head. Aroma of grain, a hint of caramel, some orange and subtle sugar. Taste of caramel, subtle biscuit, some orange, a little sugar and slight herbal hops. Light bodied and soft carbonation. A dryish, citrus hop bitterness in the finish. A sweetish but surprisingly easy drinking bitter. Bland but its ok.

Hippoman (646) - Durham, ENGLAND - NOV 4, 2015
Cask at The Woodman, Durham, 3.30/pint. Pours mid-amber with a thick, off-white head. The nose is close to non-existent, with light grain all thats detectable. The taste is pretty sweet and clean, as well as vaguely chemical. Nothing at all to write home about and although perfectly drinkable Id call it perfectly dull.

On tap at Castle View, Deganwy. Slight hop nose. Hazy copper beer with small but solid cream head. No carbonation. Nice mouthfeel with pleasant sweetness. A little hop bitterness late on. OK session ale but nothing remarkable.

Cask at the Pendle Witch, Lancaster, 01/03/15. Clear golden amber with a decent off white covering that retains well. Nose is caramel, straw, fruit rind, a touch thin. Taste comprises demerera sugar, light spice, toffee, grain, biscuit. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with low level bitterness. So so, blandometer rising through yellow on this one!
