My first beer after a pleasant and interesting walk with Rune & Stefan to The Crescent in Salford, Manchester. I decided to start the day with White Which because of the name, as I loved watching Narnia when I was little. It turned out to be a good choice. Clear yellow body with spare creamy head. Cheese, sweat, damp basement and mold to the nose. Thus the taste was a surprise, sweet and malty, some grain, vanilla, flowers and hint of herbs. Surprisingly full bodied!
Cask at Allied Arms, Reading. 19/05/17. Nil aroma. Medium gold. Thin bubbly white head. Medium sweet. A bitterness creeps in. Underlying maltyness. Light. Watery. Some carbonation. Long dry finish. Another boring gold. anfractuosity (409) - - MAY 5, 2017

Soft in the mouth, creamy, smooth and very easy drinking, a jolly pleasant, light citrussy, really like this. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov13 3.4 undercurrent25 (2130) - Barnton, Cheshire, ENGLAND - FEB 11, 2017

Cask (handpump) at the Piccadilly Tavern, Manchester on 18 January 2017. Rather sparse notes as I was convinced I’d rated this before. Very pale gold colour, tending towards straw. Good, lively condition. Light and easy drinking with a pronounced citric smack. Mellow mouthfeel. A decent quaffer.

On cask at Ramsbottom Cricket Club - Hazy golden body, solid white head. Grassy floral nose, bit of lemon. Taste is sharp and bitter, peppery cress backdrop. Not impressed.
