Poured from 1/2 liter bottle. I smell malt, apple and vinegar. Murky brown with tan head. Tastes like malty apple cider. Vinegar aftertaste - might be old. Reminds me of a cheap malt beverage. Not good.

UPDATED: SEP 8, 2015 Deep brown beer with big foamy head. Aroma of fruit, yeast, roasted malt. Light to medium body. The taste is sweetish with lots of roast & yeast. The hops appear in finish. Dry aftertaste. Pleasant brew.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes braunes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch hefig, röstmalzig, leicht fruchtig würzig. Geschmack hefig, leicht würzig, leicht fruchtig.

Aroma: My freshman year of college, I made the mistake of visiting the Ponderosa in Morehead, KY. When I walked by the applesauce at the buffet, it reeked of cheap beer. A closer inspection revealed that the applesauce in question had gone sour and fermented. That is almost exactly what this beer smells like. It definitely gives me pause about what I’m putting in my mouth in a matter of moments. Appearance: Very cloudy dark brown pour with a fizzy bone head that settles into a bubbly, patchy surface. Some of the flecks of yeast resemble sperm a bit. Oh boy. Sperm and fermented applesauce. Moosbacher, how did you figure out the formula to my dream drink? Man, there’s no part of me that wants this in my mouth. Flavor: Well, that’s quite an infection. Applesauce, b*tch (the beer must be bad if it brings up Ben Affleck). Palate: Present. Overall: Fermented applesauce. Sperm. Affleck. Could it get any worse? Yes, but just a little.

Pours out in a light cloudy dark brown - blackish colour with steady low head and medium to thin body. Nose of yeast and malt. Taste of overripe yeast, bacteria, nuts, torf and malt. Very sweet and very yeasty. No beer for me to enjoy, not to say that it was unenjoyable altogether. Poor one.

Wie auch sein Kelkerbier, so besticht auch dieses durch eine ungewöhnliche Milchsäure und vergorene Aromen. Wie ein alter Joghurt, der mit Kohlensäure aufgefüllt wurde. Kein zweites bitte.

Marduk (8620) - Reval, ESTONIA - AUG 23, 2013
500ml bottle. Hazy dark copper color. Ice-cream type of cone as head, holds nicely. Wheat, sourish, mild banana, sweet notes in aroma. Very grainy, turnip, vegetables in flavor. Very soft taste.

nuplastikk (6508) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 4, 2013
500ml bottle. Unfiltered, thick amber-burgundy. Steady thin beige head. Very earthy and mellow. Very light on the palate, some doughy chocolate over a cloudy wheat body. Some light pungent tones, sort of a Dunkel, eastern European feel at times. Very easy drinker. Has a cask feel to it. Would love to have this beers in Moosbach.

DrSilverworm (10000) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUN 12, 2013
Mostly full 500ml swingtop bottle. Opened and resealed several hours ago. Mostly clear dark red color, somewhat brown. Thin off-white head, fades to minimal, not really any lace. Light to medium body. Light to moderate kind of rough textured carbonation, very dry in the finish. A little thin. Dark fruity flavor, no real hefe wheat type flavors, just some light spice. An underlying acidic vomit like flavor kind of spoils the whole thing. It’s not obvious, but definitely noticeable. Some lightly tart lemon citrus flavor. Light sweet. Pretty disappointing dunkelweizen.

Split bottle. Poured a caramel color with a beige head. Aroma was sweet dark malts, nut notes, caramel character. Flavor was sweet roasted chocolate notes, caramel, nuts. Pretty refreshing, enjoyed.
