A smooth clean-tasting lager that offers a good balance between malt sweetness and hop bitterness

Golden color with nice fluffy white head. Decent Brussel's Lace. Creamy taste. A very good every day quaff.

rauchbier (3926) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - NOV 14, 2002
Bottled. Straw gold, low head and moderate condition. Some malt aromas, some hop flavours, sweet but thin and metallic finish. Bland and innofensive (The Celine Dione of Canadian beers)

Very pale gold color, small head. A light malt aroma. A medium bodied sweet tasting lager. There is some maltyness and some hoppyness but its masked by the sweetness. Very carbonated. Better than most of the Euro-lagers, but still not very good. I used to love this stuff, either my tastes have changed or this beer is really different. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Murph06 (121) - Illinois, USA - NOV 1, 2002
Not a fan of this. Skunky, cabbage smell. Was it fresh or is this how it is supposed to taste? Similar to Icehouse in bad aftertaste. Barely able to finish the 6pack, after 2 weeks... Another example of cheap beer.

pivo (2687) - GERMANY - OCT 31, 2002
Skunky at first, sweet grain smell. Pale gold with a foamy head. Artificial taste and little hop bitter at the end (lemony in the middle). Short profile and thin. This is not a very good beer, is it?

YogiBeera (2569) - New Jersey, USA - OCT 29, 2002
shocking, smells like a moosehead - or what I think a moosehead smells like! Yellow, no head. Flat carbonation, tastes disgusting. Drain pour.

Kaya161 (1139) - San Diego, California, USA - OCT 29, 2002
Boo. Simply bad. ..................................................

blank (996) - Austin, Texas, USA - OCT 28, 2002
it's a light, smooth but still drinkable american lager. A little bit of bad beer taste, but none of the bad beer aftertaste.
