If you like a moose label on a green bottle and looking for yellow fizzy tastless beer that can be distinguished only by the package. Then this is your beer! PorterPounder (7884) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - SEP 7, 2002
UPDATED: AUG 25, 2005 RerateLight, thin watery appearance, pithy head; bland aroma, slight bit of honey in the flavor, drinkable. Original 2.4 Just your ordinary Canadian lager - a notch above the American standards. Detected a slight malty flavor as it made its way down my throat. Nothing offensive here or nothing to write home about. OldJack99 (114) - USA - SEP 3, 2002
good & simple clean tasting beer. I’ll buy em’ again sometime. OlJuntan64 (1265) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - SEP 2, 2002
More pale gold clear under a large medium lasting white head, Mild grainy sour dough metallic hops and corny malt aroma. Light body with weak bitter start. After that it completely runs out of moose degrading to a very light bitter bland palate with a watery corn sweet finish.

The worst Canadian beer. daalamar (405) - new albany, Indiana, USA - AUG 25, 2002
Sounds terrible but this was typical green bottle beer, skunky smell and a bitter sour taste. Was a little on the watery side like everyone else has said, and generally wasn’t much to talk about. Panzuriel (2199) - Westerville, Ohio, USA - AUG 25, 2002
Crisp and clean flavor reminiscent of apples a little bit. Nice and clear liquid. A little watery on the texture. A little weak on the alcohol too. Radek Kliber (7316) - Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), POLAND - AUG 25, 2002
