Kristall-König's rating

2.6
Kristall-König (2820) - Oldenburg, - JAN 30, 2013
Geruch getreidig, schwach hopfig, marginale Zitrusnote. Startet eher neutral, etwas grasig. Mitte moderat würzig, wirkt verwässert, würzige, leichte Malznote im Abgang. Nichts Überragendes, noch trinkbar.

Smells like spicy grains. Bit of sweetness too. The taste is disappointing. Grainy malts. Thin. More like a lager.

2.3
MarcoBasile (321) - DENMARK - JUN 10, 2017
Pours pale golden with a white frothy head. Aroma of light grassy and citrusy hops. Very light. Fair bit of malts as well. The taste is lightly bitter, semi sweet and decently crisp.

jmgreenuk (9326) - Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA - MAY 1, 2017
Can at Hair of the Dog, Phrom Phong, Bangkok. Poured a crystal clear straw colour with a thin broken white head. The aroma is light dry grainy malt. The flavour is light bitter with a light mineral earthy aspirin malt, super light hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation. Reminds me of that joke about that difference between Budweiser and being in a canoe!

Idiosynkrasie (7436) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - APR 5, 2017
341ml bottle. Clear, golden colour with small to average, fluffy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Grainy, strawy aroma, hints of burnt white bread crust. Taste is grassy, hoppy and strawy, grainy malty, a touch of corn; watery and monotonous.

YantarCoast (1340) - Moscow, RUSSIA - MAR 23, 2017
355ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours clear gold with a large white head. Aroma is bread, honey, grain. Taste is watery, light honey, pale malt. Akin to a rubbish pale lager.

2.8
TedE (1304) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - FEB 25, 2017
UPDATED: FEB 26, 2017 355ml can into glass. From Canada but for the Chinese market. Clear golden amber beer with fulsome white head. Nose is understated fruit and bread. A few bubbles. Flat mouthfeel, A bit of malt, a hint of hops (not much). Slight touch of grain at the end. Ordinary, old-fashioned but drinkable.

2.3
ruigo (2706) - PORTUGAL - NOV 28, 2016
355ml bottle. Clear golden with a white head. Grainy, malty and light citrus aroma. Taste is watery sweet with some bitterness towards the finish.

Golden thin head taste jiff lemon taste thin body bland and watery bottle at home.

2.2
ALLOVATE (3004) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - SEP 24, 2016
Looks good but that is as far as it got. A huge, lasting, rocky snow-white crown dons it and laces well. The body a brilliant, sunny gold. Aroma of leavened bread dough and dried mown grass; starchy. Similarly starchy and chalky on the palate. Sweet, bready, light touch of honey. Chemical finish. Soft perfume. Low hops, little bitterness to balance. Light bodied with moderate to soft carbonation. In a world of great pale ales this is classic oldskool macro. Ugh! (35,5cL can, BB 31/03/17, 1st Choice Liquor, Riverton)

2.9
BKHansen (91) - Praestø, DENMARK - JUL 30, 2016
Flaske. Udsende: Klar gul med et svagt hvidt hoved. Aroma/Smag: Lys citrus, byg og græs med en let humlet aroma, middel krop og medium sødme. Samlet set en standart ale.
